My name is Nicole. I purchased two of your books today (Psalm 139 and Psalm 148) and read them both to my 2 1/2 year old son before bed tonight. My husband and I have read to him since he was a baby and he has always enjoyed this time.
Tonight, however, was different. I began with Psalm 139. Let me tell you, it was amazing! He was enthralled. It was a perfect way to say all the things I'd been trying to tell him about how God made him! As I finished the book and tried to kiss him goodnight, he said "The other one! Read the other one!" I picked up "the other one" (Psalm 148) and read it just as you read it to us at MOPS but had him join me in the motions and the words. Oh. My. Goodness. I have NEVER seen such pure joy and excitement on his face just from reading a book! His laughter came pouring out and he started mimicking animals before I even got a chance to tell him what to do! He LOVED it! We mimic animals and their motions and sounds all the time, and we talk about God with him whenever we get a chance, but somehow, the way you combined the two in this book was genius. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how incredibly encouraging this was for me! It was like it was the first time that this all began to "click" for him. Thank you for writing these and for sharing them with us today. I can't wait to read them to him again!
In Christ,
Nicole
My name is Naomi, and I wanted to share with you how much I love your book, Psalm 148. I am about to have my first child in just a few short weeks and received it as a baby shower gift just yesterday from a friend of mine whose mother works with Melanie.
When I opened the gift, I knew right away it was something really special - what a great way for me to introduce the Word to my little one. My girlfriends were all so curious that we had 'story time' right there as I read the book for the first time. We all thought it was really beautiful - also so very important for children spiritually, not to mention relevant to their comprehension and explorative natures!
I'm sure it will be at least several months before my little boy can have any understanding of the words in the book, but I definitely look forward to sharing it with him and any future children in the years to come! I want to thank you for using the gift God has given you to minister to my family ( and many others, I hope).
God bless,
Naomi E.
I opened an unusual envelope from England the other day.
Inside were two beautiful watercolor paintings from Benjamin and Hannah
and a note telling me how much they enjoyed reading the Psalm for Kidz books.
The paintings are now hanging proudly on my fridge.

I enjoyed reading Psalm 139 "God knows all about me!" I was impressed by the colorful illustrations. After reading this book, children will understand this psalm much better, and will see themselves and their relationship with God in a different light. Thank you for publishing these high quality books for children everywhere.

I was waiting in the dentist office the other day to have my teeth cleaned. The door opened and I was greeted with: "I'm as happy as can be -- my Shepherd takes good care of me." Apparently she had been reading Psalm 23 to her four year old boy the night before!

Psalm 1 is fantastic. I know that it is a perfect book for Chase right now. You cleverly dealt with many things we’re trying to teach him – sharing, telling the truth, pleasing God, etc. I’m excited to be able to share this book with him. E. B.
My 2-year-old, Johanna, loves having me read the Psalm 23 book to her. She likes the part when the bear comes, and gets whacked on the nose - I like it because in the story the lamb is brave all because his shepherd is there with him. The whole book gives a great starting place for talking about how the Lord is our shepherd, and all the ways He cares for us. While reading it, I ask Johanna who our shepherd is, and she says, "Jesus!" As we read these books, I'm expecting the truths of Scripture to continue seeping into her heart and mind in new ways as she grows. - Sara M.
I just received my copy of Psalm 133 in the mail. My two boys are right at that "grumble bear not wanting to share" stage. I'm excited to sit down and read your book with them.
Hi Sherri - We received your book! Thank you soooo much! I personally love it, and have lost count as to how many times we have read it together in the past few days. =) I think it does an amazing job of illustrating the psalm. Here's what Johanna had me write to you too (actually, she typed some of it herself, with assitance. =)
